IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
We decided to shift the April meeting to the 15th vs. the 8th due to spring break week.
Please mark your calendars for and plan to attend! We will have a very different and fun event with food and focus being on the future of Douglas County, the upcoming State GOP elections and the City Council elections.
As we previously discussed, we have taken on the Exodus Ranch as our charity project this year and we want to help them in any way we can!
For our upcoming April 15th meeting, we will also include this event as a part of our monthly project and will help take collections of any of the items listed below at the meeting. We will remind you when we send the invite out and hope that everyone seeing this will participate!

It’s that time! April 26 is our first 2025 Foster Family Fun Day! This day is for Waymark Foster! This is a free day for these amazing kids and their families! We will have pony/horse rides, foam party, bounce house, free food, gift bags, porta potty, entertainment, and more! We need the help of our community to give them the best day possible!
What do we need?
*Food donations! Desserts, snacks, water, canned soda, juice boxes, pizza, chicken nuggets
*Helpers! Face Painters, hair braiders, chaperones, arts and craft helpers
*Gift bag items: Hygiene items, socks for boys and girls, SMALL roller board suitcases
*$$$ to help us purchase needed items and pay for entertainment!

A special House committee focused on elections kicked off its first meeting at the state Capitol Tuesday, as state lawmakers gathered to solicit testimony from elections officials and activists on how to improve Georgia elections. We'll hear all about it Saturday morning at our regular monthly meeting at 10 am at The American Legion from Brad Carver who is leading the fight for the Georgia Republican Party.

Douglas County RWC 250th 4th of July Event!
Folks, this is a special year for America and we (the Women's Club) have special plans for our First Responders for the 4th of July. We will be asking for support and volunteers to help us honor them on this day. If you are interested in helping, please let us know! We plan to celebrate the 250th for them in a big way and to show them we respect their efforts in protecting our community!
